The entry points to Brentwood School are Kindergarten, sixth grade, seventh grade, and ninth grade. At every other grade level, we are only able to replace students who have left that class.
At the elementary division, our attrition rate is low and due to the limited number of spaces available, we can only accept applications for first through fifth grades from families who are moving into the Los Angeles area, or who have moved into the area since March 1, 2008.
Out of state and non-local applications will be accepted from May, 2008 through July 1, 2009.
To complete an application, we require the following:
- A School Visit by both parents and child. (A visit by both are required, but a child does not have to attend the initial visit.) Please make arrangements for your visit with Tamyra Fuller at 310.889.2812.

Selection Process
Thank you for your interest in Brentwood School! Two basic principles guide us through each admissions process. The first stems from the nature of our school, that of being affiliated with a college preparatory school offering a rigorous academic curriculum. We want you to feel confident that every student admitted can enjoy academic success.
The second principle relates to attracting and securing a diverse student body. Brentwood School is committed to enrolling students with a wide range of backgrounds, learning styles, interest, talents and personalities.
Admission is far from an exact science. We carefully evaluate each application, unfortunately, we are not in the position to accept every qualified student. In many instances our decisions are influenced by the limited number of students that we are able to admit, and are not a direct reflection of the personal and academic qualifications of the applicant.
