Our Students
Brentwood School’s approximately 990 students reside throughout Los Angeles. Our student body is as diverse and lively as the Los Angeles area itself. Brentwood School students bring a great deal of energy and dedication to their studies. They also bring the same level of care and commitment to relationships with their fellow classmates and teachers. They are bright, creative, kind, and compassionate people, and are diligent, inquisitive, and sensitive learners.
Students are involved in a wide range of Brentwood School activities—from 6th Graders gently looking after their Kindergarten buddies, to 1st Graders visiting seniors at a local home for the elderly; from athletics teams announcing the results of their own games at assembly, to students sharing their musical talents in a wide range of performances; from discussion groups debating serious topics of their own choosing, shaping their understanding of their world, to students organizing fundraising activities and community service projects. Students’ constant involvement in the life of Brentwood School gives them the unique opportunity to become active participants in their own personal growth. They emerge as poised and confident speakers, and responsible, caring citizens. Indeed, students are the most important part of our community. Brentwood School takes great pride in all their achievements and, more importantly, invests in the development of their character.
